Sam Croes the digital man with the plan has posted the above artwork on his blog today. Like me he has a liking for sweet little things in uniform (humm…not very PC, but hey it’s my blog!) so as he explains he created this bill poster in a couple of days just for the fun of it. I want to get this as an actual poster for my wall. It is that awesome.

Sam’s style is different to yours but both are indeed great. Wargaming allows for all kinds of talents to be showed off in the Ion Age or on Valon or anything else that we do.

I totally agree, and I like Edward’s art a lot for just that reason. Back in the first edition of Warhammer 40K (“Rogue Trader”), the rulebooks had all sorts of illustrations, in all styles and approaches, from dark realistic epic fight scenes to humorous, even cartoony pictures. And why not? I think any wargame universe benefits from a diverse collection of artwork. Gives the players and fans so many more angles for their imagination to go on.
What a fantastic poster! I would love to get one of these as an actual poster.
