Making an Advert for Miniature Wargames Issue 350

Off the back of the huge success that 15mm.co.uk has enjoyed from Gary Mitchell’s Darker Horizons column in Miniature Wargames and my chat with Andrew Hubback at Salute 2012 I decided that once more we would venture into paper advertising!

So I was set the task of designing a half page advert for the next issue…the subject..what else but USE ME!  I think it has come out rather well!

Click on the image below to see the advert that will be in the magazine.  I look forward to getting my contributors copy 🙂

  1. Fantastic news Gavin!
I’m looking forward to seeing it in print.

Just realised, I do not have the Cyberpunk rules! Whatever will I do?!

Someone at Salute asked me whether it is a set of rules that you need every book for, might be worth noting that each booklet is a rulebook in it’s own right, developed for the flavour of each setting! 🙂

BTW, look out for some reviews on my youtube, coming up soon.

    Cheers
    Rob

    • Hello Rob,

Yes, I am rather pleased with it.

I am sure I can sort you out a copy if your Elf ladies make me smile.

You do not need every book for USE ME, only the ones that interest you. If you do not want to fight space battles you do not need UM006 and so on. Each is a complete game (except for UM010 Support Pack which is labelled Expansion as it fits onto most other ones). Each USE ME title so far is based on the same core engine mechanic of a D6 dice and the same idea of fast, simple and fun but each book is tailored, altered and suited to the subject it is for. If you want to fight near future tech then UM011 Cyberpunk is for you not UM001 15mm Sci-fi. UM001 is the ‘catch all’, the best seller and my favourite over all for acually playing but each title is valid in its existance and each is a rule book in its own right.

Drop me an email when your videos are up. I look forward to them my friend.

      GBS.
